I have over 16 years of experience working with children and young people, with a deep commitment to supporting children’s emotional wellbeing through the therapeutic power of play.
My approach is grounded in child-centred play therapy. I believe that children hold an innate capacity for healing and problem-solving within themselves; however, they often need the right environment, time, and relational support for this to emerge. My role is to provide a safe, accepting therapeutic space where children can explore their inner world at their own pace.
I began my career providing pastoral support within schools, where I developed a strong interest in children’s emotional development and mental health. This led me to train in play therapy, where I discovered a passion for helping children express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through play—the natural language of childhood.
Within the playroom, children are free to explore their personal stories, make sense of their emotions, and develop greater self-awareness and resilience. Through symbolic play, creativity, and imagination, children often find new ways of understanding themselves and the world around them, building confidence and emotional regulation that extends beyond the therapy space.
I have worked across schools and communities throughout Greater Manchester, supporting children and families through individual therapy, therapeutic group work, and collaborative work with schools and professionals. My experience includes supporting children who have experienced trauma, attachment difficulties, loss and bereavement, domestic abuse, anxiety, neurodivergence, and emotional regulation challenges.
My practice is primarily non-directive and rooted in child-centred and psychodynamic principles, recognising each child’s strengths and their unique pathway toward healing and growth. I carefully create a play environment with open-ended therapeutic materials designed to support expression, imagination, and emotional processing.
As a Full Member of Play Therapy UK (PTUK), I adhere to strict professional and ethical standards. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, professional liability insurance, and maintain comprehensive safeguarding and professional policies.

I am thrilled to announce that I have gained a Distinction in my Postgraduate Diploma in Practice based Play Therapy from The Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy, where I learned effective play therapy techniques that enhance children's mental health support and offer various therapeutic methods for children.
